My approach looks at all aspects of your life because fulfilment doesn't come from just your work or personal life, it comes from both. While my focus is on the work side of things, everything I talk about has huge impacts in your personal life as well. After all, don't you want those two parts of you to be contributing to the life you want to live?

Don't get me wrong, this will not be easy. It's a lot of hard work. You'll need to do extensive self-discovery, lots of planning around what you want things to look like, coming to terms with what's truly important to you and endless experimentation to see what works the best for you. Not to worry though, I will be there to support you along the way and find ways to make it easier for you.

Where I Come In

I'm an external partner who brings objectivity to the situation. By facilitating group coaching sessions, it allows leaders to be part of the conversation, not directors of it. Through group and one-on-one coaching, I'm able to find out what really going on. And because I'm an external partner, I bring an objectivity to the situation that illuminates blind spots and potential hurles

Most importantly though, I'm there for the follow and maintenance because, nothing, no matter how well planned, survives execution unscathed. Only when you put things into action to you find the disagreements, lack of clarity and oversights. Without a well managed maintenance plan, things can quickly fall apart.

That's why I'm there to follow up and ensure everyone continues to be on the same page, proactively confronts unforeseen challenges, and the change sticks for the long haul.

Assessments

Self-awareness is crucial to success and one of the hardest things we can do. It's hard to see our blind spots, let along accept them. I've sought out certifications in the various assessments I believe can help make self-awareness easier.

The value in assessments is that they give us a starting point where we can begin our journey of discussion. They never are 100% accurate, however there are always nuggets and questions that come out of these assessments which can help you dive a bit deeper into who you are.

Myers-Briggs Type Indicator

One of the most widely used assessments in the world, the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) looks at people’s preferences when it comes to how they perceive the world and make decisions. The focus of the instrument is to explore your personality and begin a deeper exploration of who you are.  

Your exploration into your results starts with exploring how your personality impacts how you communicate, make decisions, manage change and manage conflict, then moves into figuring out how to use that information to thrive in your work and life.

Emotional Intelligence 2.0

Emotional intelligence is a set of emotional and social skills which are critical for how you cope with challenges, build resilience, lead effectively and most importantly look at how your emotions and inner voice both help and hinder you. The EQ-i 2.0 provides you with a detailed assessment of your areas of strength and potential areas for development.

While most people complete the EQ-i 2.0, the EQ 360 is another assessment available which integrates your perception of your emotional intelligence, along with those around you who you know well. The EQ 360 is great at identifying those blind spots to make you aware of things you can't see yourself.

Strong Interest Inventory

The Strong Interest Inventory is one of the most useful tools when exploring new career paths. The goal of this assessment is to give insight into a person's interests, and suggests specific career options based on others who share your interests, thus opening up new career possibilities to explore.

This inventory is used with clients who are looking to identify new career options. With millions of different jobs out there, it helps focus on a few that might be of interest to aid in the exploration process.

Narrative 360 Review

A Narrative 360 Review is a review process where you are in control. You decide what challenge you want to explore, what questions are asked and who will be interviewed. Since you're in the driver's seat, you are in a position to get the most personal growth possible.

In the Narrative 360 Review, I work with you to uncover where you want to grow, push you to ask those challenging and sensitive questions and encourage you to get feedback from those you fear most. By seeing yourself through this different lens, you're opening up a world of possibilities to grow.
