Core Components

Happiness comes from many different areas of your life, and over reliance in one area can create a false sense of happiness which can topple at any moment. That's why its important to look at all the core components of happiness to create a balanced structure to your happiness which can withstand the natural ups and down of life.

These components look at internal and external sources of happiness. Your own personal needs and unique situation. It looks at what really matters in the end and how you can go out to get more of it in your life. After all, your happiness is something you can take control of and develop to suit your needs.

Fulfilment

A happy life needs a sense of accomplishment. Sitting back and thinking about what the future could look like without any action causes you to spiral. So get moving forward. When you start achieving things, you start feeling fulfilled. This boosts your confidence, gives you a sense of pride and gives you purpose in your life.

Self-confidence

It is said that "Happiness comes from within" and that's where self-confidence comes in. When you believe in yourself, are proud of who you are, and willing to share that with the world, your happiness grows exponentially. When building self-confidence you also need to think about self-awareness (who are you truly) and self-compassion (being kind to yourself). When you have all three, your happiness is solid.

community

Humans are social beings. We thrive when around others and when we work together and we feel our best when we are accepted and valued.  We feel a sense of purpose when our efforts have a positive impact on others. Things are also much easier when we do them together. That's why community is so important. Its a source of pride, camaraderie, and assistance; all keys to a happier life.

memories

Humans are people of stories. Our memories are what we lean on. They fill us with joy form the foundation of who we are. We remember and reminisce over our stories. They are the things that bind us to other members of our community and fill us with joy in times of need. At the end of the day, all we have are our memories and stories; so make good ones.

Exploration, Creativity & Mastery

Humans are filled with one of three key desires; Exploration, Creativity & Mastery. Some of us what to explore, find new things and go into what's unknown. Others want to create and innovate to develop new things or improve on existing things. Yet others want to become masters in a particular area. More often than not, we are all a combination of all three. Finding ways to nurture and embrace these desires are what make us human and give us excitement in our lives.
